About DANZ

DANZ Food Industries was created following the partnership between Daoud Group “the leader in poultry meat industry in Syria” and Nazha Investments Group.
DANZ owns the only full mechanical slaughterhouse in Syria, which provides the local market with a wide range of Halal poultry products. The facility has a big plant built in 2004 with fully automatic poultry meat processing, based on international health systems, and controlled by ISO 9001:2015.
The facility is located in the industrial city of Hissiah, (Homs Governorate), in the center of Syria. This location is an important factor due to its proximity of raw materials, whether they are in any Syrian governorate or imported from abroad, and proximity to the Syrian and Lebanese ports with great advantage in terms of exporting to neighboring countries or to other countries by land and sea.
The facility has a supporting broiler house facility located at Al-Bouraij and consists of two modern hangars that use two methods of chicken raising: the floor rearing and the cage rearing with an overall capacity of 67,000 broiler chickens per cycle.
Additionally, DANZ provides the local market with eggs, fodder, and all poultry related products.
The purpose of the project is to:
• Meet the growing demand for Halal poultry products locally and in the neighboring countries.
• Achieve good returns and add value to the local economy.
• Contribute to the creation of many direct and indirect job opportunities.
